What are bins?

Simply put, bins are how you:

1. Compartmentalize your parts and supplies, and
2. Manage their inventory

Bins represent storage areas like rooms, shelves, vehicles, and parts containers. And just as your parts and supplies go in them in real life, they also go “in” them in our platform. So, say for example you keep flat head screws in your maintenance room and in your utility van. You would create in our platform:

1. Part - Flat head screws
2. Bin – Maintenance Room
3. Bin – Utility Van

and put the appropriate inventory levels of the flat head screw in each bin. Make sense?
