There are things you need to do before the game:
- Gym setup - sweep and dust mop the floor
- Scoreboard & equipment check - test the scoreboard, shot clocks, and sound system
- Seating arrangement & bleacher setup - extend the bleachers and set up chairs for the teams
- Locker room prep - clean and stock supplies (towels, water, etc.)
And there are things you need to do after the game:
- Gym breakdown & cleaning - sweep, mop, and put away equipment
- Bleacher retraction & chair storage - return seating to its normal setup
- Trash removal & recycling - empty bins and dispose of waste properly
- Security & exit checks - ensure doors are locked and everyone has left safely
