The process of submitting a reservation request is quite simple. Just open the 'new reservation request' form and:
- Give your request a title
- Provide a basic description of the event
- Add either a one-off occurrence (Basketball Game) or a series of them (Monthly Assembly)
- Choose a location, date, and time
- Click "Submit"
And that's it! From there, it'll go off to a manager to review and approve.
It's important to note that once a request is submitted, it cannot be edited by the requester - it can only be canceled.
Where to Submit Requests From
To accommodate users who may have different workflows from one to the next, we made it so you can submit reservation requests from a few different places.
- Requests page - the page users navigate to in order to see pending requests
- Reservations page - the page users navigate to in order to see upcoming reservations
- A location record - a specific location in the platform (e.g. "Gymnasium")
Leveraging QR Codes
Say your company uses HelixIntel QR codes to streamline their property management processes. If the location you're submitting a request for has a label you can access, scanning it will prompt the record to display on your device.
From there, you can click the "Reserve" button, which will kick off the above workflow and automatically link your request to that location record.
