Preventive maintenance (PM) involves regularly completing scheduled maintenance activities with the intent of both preventing unexpected equipment failures and extending the life of assets.
These regularly scheduled maintenance activities are created by "PM Schedules." These schedules automatically generate and assign PM work orders at specified intervals, ensuring that essential maintenance tasks are consistently completed.
Users can:
- Access PM Schedules from the sidebar

Create highly customizable PM schedules for equipment and locations, where they:
- Apply a work item template
- Define the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, etc.)
- Assign priority
- Designate responsible team member(s), and
- Customize other key details to streamline maintenance processes
- Manage their company's schedules from the "PM Schedules" page
- Navigate to a PM schedule's details page to see all its info and associated work orders, and make any desired edits.
- Easily identify in the Work Manager which items are "PM."
