From the Driving Assignment detail view, drivers will see their required tasks listed at the top. Tapping Pre-Trip Inspection (or Post-Trip Inspection) opens the checklist for that trip.
Working through the inspection is straightforward:
- Each item is configured by whoever built the template. Depending on the setup, you might see Pass/Fail buttons or an alphanumeric text field.
- At the top of the form, a progress counter (e.g., 12/15) and progress bar track how far along you are.
- If the template includes an Odometer field, it will be required before you can submit.
- Once all items are complete, the Submit button becomes active.
On submission, if any items were failed, a work request is created and sent to the maintenance queue for review. The confirmation screen will summarize details of the request(s).
Note: To help ensure trips are completed, Admins and Managers can complete them on behalf of assigned drivers.
