Failing an item doesn't block the driver from completing the inspection — it just asks for a bit more detail.
When a driver taps Fail on a checklist item, a panel expands inline prompting them to:
- Add a note describing the issue
- Optionally attach a photo or video
Once the inspection is submitted, the system automatically creates a work request and notifies the appropriate team member(s). The work request comes pre-populated with the vehicle, a description of the failed item, any notes the driver added, and any photos/videos attached. No phone calls or manual handoffs needed.
The driver will see a confirmation modal upon inspection completion, providing summary info about the work request that was just created.
